Hey — I'm Alexander Montolio
System Engineer
I build applications from the ground up — leading Flutter/Dart products from architecture to launch, and researching whatever tech gets them there. Right now I'm building ClydeCLI, a coding-agent harness for the terminal.
Download CVBanking apps in production — architected, shipped and maintained end to end
React Native and TypeScript — picked up on my own, intermediate level
Backends and data layers behind those apps; Python doubles as my open-source language
ClydeCLI, 2B and A2 — local-first, privacy-first AI that runs on your machine, not the cloud
Store releases handled end to end, with an OWASP MASVS-based lint suite behind them
The daily drivers
A coding-agent harness for the terminal — bring any LLM, cloud or local, and Clyde deals: skills, hooks, MCP, and memory that keeps what a session taught it. Local models get the full treatment: a measured fit for the machine, an oMLX serving layer, and privacy declared up front in EGRESS.md.
An AI agent, reimagined from the ground up — private, quick, and able to act. The full picture arrives at launch.
In the spirit of ELIZA — the 1966 program that simulated conversation through pattern matching and substitution. A2 inherits the instinct, scaled until the patterns grow large enough to feel like thought.
ClydeCLI's predecessor — now dormant, superseded by ClydeCLI. A local-first coding agent for the terminal, built out of necessity to have a reliable harness for local models: it runs your own models straight over Ollama's native protocol — no OpenAI-compatible shim to degrade small models — and keeps them focused inside a full-screen TUI.
