In the spirit of ELIZA — the 1966 program that simulated conversation through pattern matching and substitution. A2 inherits the instinct, scaled until the patterns grow large enough to feel like thought.

Open sourceA local-first coding agent for the terminal. Built out of necessity to have a reliable harness for local models: it runs your own models straight over Ollama's native protocol — no OpenAI-compatible shim to degrade small models — and keeps them focused inside a full-screen TUI.
